I got the shock of my life when the line leading to the tent is sooooo long...

This is actually my 3^rd time making my own havaianas. I was just sop totally amazed that I can totally control how my flipflops would look like. Still it took me quite sometime before I have finally decided on my flipflops sole and strap colors.

What I actually like in this years M.Y.O.H 2009 is that they added a local flavor to make the flipflops more “Filipinize!” Assorted pins are available like: Jeepney, Sorbetero Cart, Tarsier,Vinta Philippine map, a NOYPI sign…

other pins including: Beach, Boombox, Brazil Flag, Clover, Flower,Lomo Cam, Music Notes, Shell, Vintage TV and Yoga added up an extra kick...

Last May 22, 2009 we celebrated EON's 1st month old birthday! Erik and I were very excited preparing this party for our little lovee dubbee.

... on being a Newbies

Im not one of those “they grow up so fast” people. But just yesterday, I realized my baby is already 1 mo. old. Time flies soooo fast! isn't? When did THAT happen? Gone are the skinny chicken legs, replaced by some scrumptious thigh rolls. Cheesle! Gone are the teeny-tiny newborn undershirts that were still too big at first, replaced by actual outfits with pockets. (Pockets?! For an extra binky, I guess.) EON is growing up so fast! My tiny bundle of joy has become not so tiny. He is smiling and (almost) rolling over already!

EON loves his new bouncy chair and also the “punchieee-punch chuuung” game.. I personaly invented this game for him. (You hold the baby’s fists and make him throw tiny punches, saying, “punch-punch-chuuung!”) Bonus points if you pretend to take a punch and fling your head back. This almost GUARANTEES a laugh. Along with his clothes, EON seems to be outgrowing some of his fussiness. I am qualifying that statement because we still have our bad days. But he has more alert and HAPPY periods now and becomes very active. Thanks to Papa God. Cheesle!!!
